Some of my most powerful messages from Spirit have come to me while asleep and dreaming. I can remember many of these visionary dreams, even from childhood. When our mind and ego get out of the way in sleep, I feel we are more open to messages from above. These messages can be very profound and impact our lives in significant ways.

Our dreams can provide us with comfort and warnings that we need to heed. An example is when my aunt had an angel appear to her the night before her little boy died. She said that seeing the angel gave her strength to get through this tragedy. Another time, I had a profound dream of a golden cobra snake in front of my neighbour's house. The cobra reached out to strike me as I walked by the house, but stopped short. (I told my husband at the time because the dream was so vivid.) The next week, I found the neighbour dead at his home. This cobra from my dream had given me a warning. (Luckily, I have not seen a cobra in my dreams again!)

Repeating dreams can represent our fears and things about ourselves that need healing. Animals, like my cobra, often show up to help us with what is going on in our lives both currently and in the near future. You can Google what an animal represents or refer to a good book. One to which I often refer is Animal Spirit Guides by Steven D Farmer, found on Amazon.

Historically, great insights have been provided in our dreams:

Rene Descartes wrote that the scientific method came to him in his dreams on 10 November 1619 (Manoushka and Figaro).

In 1903, Otto Loewi, often called ‘The Father of Neuroscience’, dreamed that nerve signalling across synapses was a chemical process. In 1936, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for work that came to him in a dream (Manoushka and Figaro).

Albert Einstein, who famously dreamed the theory of relativity, said, ‘The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift’ (Spaced-Out Scientist).

Remember your dreams; write them down. You will be amazed at the answers and insights you find. Sweet dreams!
